# Offer Snapshot Rules

> Rules for preserving offer snapshots after consumer-facing delivery or negotiation activity.

## Purpose

Protect active negotiations from later offer changes.

## Snapshot Trigger Events

* Offer Acceptance
* Counteroffer
* Dispute
* No-Pay Response
* Payment Activity
* Active Negotiation Creation

## Snapshot Rules

Once negotiation activity begins:

* Delivered offers are snapshotted.
* Validation references the offer snapshot.
* Later pay-term changes do not affect active negotiations.
* Active negotiations continue using the originally delivered terms.

## Key Rule

Offer hierarchy controls delivery.
Offer snapshots control negotiation validation.
