Key Concept

Account import is the first operational step after completion of all required setup steps. Account and offer delivery, negotiations, payments, and communications cannot begin until account data has been successfully uploaded, validated, and processed.

Important CFPB Note

Add Accounts + CFPB generates CFPB Validation Letters during the import process. Validation letters are generated only and are not automatically delivered. Delivery occurs later through the Communications system using Secure EcoLetter campaigns.

Account Delivery & Consumer Notification Workflow

After account upload, the platform validates account data, appends eligible negotiation offers, delivers the account into the Consumer EcoPortal, and determines whether consumer notifications may be sent based on communication preferences and PII opt-out compliance rules.
